Role Overview

We are looking for a senior, entrepreneurial Account Executive to lead and accelerate Primetag’s expansion in Italy. This role combines new business development, strategic market positioning, and ecosystem building.

You will be responsible for driving net new ARR, opening key enterprise accounts, and establishing Primetag as the reference technology partner for influencer marketing analytics in the Italian market.

This is not a purely transactional sales role — it requires consultative selling, industry credibility, and the ability to build a market from the ground up. You will work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to localize our go-to-market strategy and ensure strong market penetration.

  • Energized by ownership, accountability, and direct impact on market expansion.

This person should combine industry credibility, commercial ambition, and the resilience required to scale a SaaS business in a competitive and evolving market.

Responsibilities

Market Development & Revenue Growth

  • Own the expansion of the Italian market, identifying and developing high-value opportunities with brands and agencies.

  • Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, pitching, negotiation, and closing.

  • Develop and execute strategies targeting enterprise brands, agencies, and key industry accounts.

Strategic Sales & Consultative Engagement

  • Lead strategic conversations with C-level and senior stakeholders (CMO, Head of Digital, Head of Influencer, Agency Directors).

  • Deliver tailored presentations and demos showcasing Primetag to potential clients

  • Position PrimeTag as a strategic partner, not just a software vendor.

Relationship & Ecosystem Building

  • Build long-term relationships with agencies, brands, and industry partners in Italy.

  • Represent PrimeTag at key industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities in the Italian market.

  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to refine the local go-to-market strategy.

Pipeline & Performance Management

  • Maintain accurate pipeline tracking, forecasting, and activity reporting in HubSpot.

  • Achieve and exceed revenue targets and KPIs.

Requirements

Professional Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in client-facing sales roles (agency, consultancy, or SaaS).

  • Strong background in influencer marketing

  • Deep understanding of the influencer marketing ecosystem, including agencies, creators, platforms, measurement frameworks, and compliance.

  • SaaS / Martech experience is a plus (not mandatory but highly valued).

  • Experience managing complex, consultative sales cycles.

Skills & Profile

  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.

  • Strong negotiation and closing capabilities.

  • Highly proactive, structured, and target-driven.

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment and building a market from scratch.

Languages & Location

  • Native Italian speaker and fluent in English (written and spoken).

  • Based in Milan (or willing to relocate).
